    guys, I need a quick info !

    Hey guys!
I´m writing you from germany. Got a quick question: I am planning on buying Fender vintage noiseless PUs for my 1995 American standart strat. Are they ony available with genuine white caps, or are there black caps including the "noiseless" logo available?

By the way, which are your favorite Fender PUs for the strat??? No EMG or Seymores please .. only Fenders!

Wie geht es Ihnen? I was born in Whuppertal. Came to Canada in 1962.

Those Vintage Noiseless only come in aged white. See Fender Link.

I have them in my 2000 Am DLX Fat Strat. They sound very good.

For Fender pups the 57/62's seem to get the most positive remarks.

Good Fender pickups are the Fat 50's and the 57/62ri's the "new design" ones.

The BEST Fender Strat pickups I have heard are in the new Robert Cray Strat they arent sold seperatly tho.

First thing I always do is replace the stock Fender pickups with Fralins but on this Robert Cray they sounded so good I'm not changing anything.

What are the Cray PUPs? Have they just modded a STD Fender Pup?

It sure seems that you picked a great guitar.

Its vintage custom pups on the Cray.
I don't like the vintage noiseless pup, i believe there are best fender pup if u wanna sound vintage, like the fat 50s or the 57/62 as Marcando said before.

The Crays are brand new pickups designed by the custom shop and wound in mexico they have fiber bobbins and flat polepieces on the bridge pickup. They are nothing like any Fender pickups I have ever heard and I've just about heard them all.

They have alot of quack in the 2-4 positions and to my ears sound as good as the expensive aftermarket pickups I always have to buy to make my Fenders sound right to me.

Stop by a Fender shop brian and try a Cray out the sound of these is awesome!

The 57/62's sound like like a 62-63 Strat they are an excellent Vintage sound!
