    Metal Filler?

I've never had any sucsess with JB weld or Loctite metal filler. Not as far as something that can be drilled into to hold screws and so forth. There IS one thing I saw on TV that you use an propane torch and they give you 6 or 8 rods to melt. I think its called something like "alumaweld". I have a Strat block of a junky 40 dollar Wilikinson 2 pt. trem that is a good solid steel block. I was thinking about filling the holes with a good metal and redrilling 3 holes and affixing a Strat styleVintage bridge to the block.

The repair will be pretty soft compared to the surrounding steel. If your new holes are to close to (or partially into) the old ones, your drill will probably walk into the old holes.

Alumaweld is $75 or more online. You can get a good steel block from Callaham for less.
