    Fender Bass VI

    I found this Fender Bass VI 6 string bass on the local CL this morning and rushed over before anyone else could snag it. I've been wanting to get one for the Surf Instrumental stuff for a while so when this became available I jumped on it. It's a 1996 Japanese made Reissue of 1a 1963 with 3 pickups and a tremolo because bass guitars don't get whammied enough. I checked it out through my Showman when I got home and it's going to be great with the band. There are a lot of tones available from deep thumping bass to pizzicato tic tac bass tones. It has a 30" scale it won't be toodrastic of an adjustment from a guitar.

    It's a full time job. This one happened to be a Sunday morning at 7 AM type deal. He had just placed the ad and I had just logged on. I was halfway there before anyone else saw the ad.
