    ashdown

I think I found the English equivilant of the HRDx
My ashdown peacemaker 40 has (again) crapped out.
I think this is the 7th time

PCB mounted tube socket, teeny tiny components, substandard components....

I put my vox vr15 in the enclosure, not a perfect fit, but the celestion vintage 30 makes it louder than my 5E3.
    A suitable 'salvage' (but expensive)

Any suggestions on what to do with the chassis?
    (it is a 4x el84 w/ 4 12ax7's)
the PT and OT are good, but I have no idea on the specs or quality..
Repairing it (again) seems like a waste of time
do I look like I know what I'm doing?

    Re: ashdown

is there a 'kit' that is avaliable w/o pt & ot?

chassis, turret board, components and idiots assembly guide
would be needed. Not really wanting to 'piece meal' all the stuff.

who knows... it was an expensive lesson and a real disappointment. Maybe someone somwhere needs these items?

Not a lot of experience with scratch builds here. I'm NT Blues could point you in the right direction.

Ceriatone offers a "36 Watt" amp, I think it's a Marshall 18 watt with four EL84's rather than two. You can buy a stuffed board for it pretty cheaply.
