    Replacement bridge PRS Santana SE

I'm looking to go with gold hardware for this guitar.

Excuse my silly question, but does a guitar have to have a floyd rose style bridge to be considering floating? Or can normal tremolo bridges (like on a strat) be floating? I'm just now getting into the technical side of things.

Are the GFS tremolos any good?

I wish I could find a gold PRS tremolo...I really like the way the saddles feel when I rest my hand against them.

    Thanks!

Yes, Strat bridges can be floating and, in fact, come that way from the factory.

For a great bridge for a PRS guitar (the original, btw), check out the bridges that John Mann at MannMade USA in NH makes.

    They're on the web.

Those are nice bridges, but I'd prefer not to spend 160 to 200 dollars for a bridge. And, their PRS bridge only comes in nickel and I need gold.
