Replacement Neck for 3 Bolt Jazzbass

    hi all,

i own a 60 ri fender jazzbass (mij 85), i like to have a replacement fretless neck. my problem is, that all necks have problems with the 3 bolt neckplate of the bass because of the trussrod.the third screw is at the same point as the trussrod and does not go deep enough into the wood.does anybody know some help for this?i am totally confused and find no solution. i wrote to warmoth and they dont have such necks..or is there another solution to this problem?

thanks in advance for your kind help

if you dare, convert your guitar to 4 bolt. other than that, you could search for another 3 bolt neck on the bay and then convert it to a fretless. it's pretty easy to do.
