    New guy

My name's Allen and I've recently had a private fantasy to be a bass player. I've been a trumpet player for around 25 years and am a pretty good amateur, but I've only doodled around with a few basses before but I own one now.

Last week, I picked up a used '92 Mexican Fender Jazz for a decent price. It's a good piece.

I like to play along with songs and that'll be some of my learning, but I am also mulling around calling the local university's music program to see if they can get me in contact with a student that is a good bass player to teach me properly too.

    Anyway, hey everyone!

    Welcome.

Spend some time in the jamzone on your bass.
