Yeah, I dig it more than the Jag bass that just came out, Fewer knobs and switches. A nice big expanse of white.

A long scale version would be cool.

    ok...
    i'd seriously consider the following...
    SX SST57 Mahogany 2TS P90 $109.95
    SX GG1 JR TVY $129.95
    Agile AL-2500 Gold Top 3/P90 Pickups $279.95
Agile PS-4000 Amber Flame Duncan $699.99

and prob a dozen more. seriously.
    like the gimmick ones...
the union jacks, the cammo, the 2HB strats HTs, the checker tele, the Ric 3pup, the $419 tele, the stoptail strats........

I got one of these as a $100 b-stock not too long ago. I'm trying to learn bass guitar for a change of pace. It feels nice and sounds great. Pretty good for a starter bass guitar.

I have one of those......Sent my Chorme to Mikey for one of his projects......

I toyed with it, and changed out the guts......it was been a great instrument to play and work on. I had a problem with the neck 9unexplained crack) and Kurt replaced it......The new one didn't mesh exactly but plays fine. I would buy another and leave it stock...it did really well all on its own!

enjoy your learning - play often!

Yeah, I got one of those too after pricing P90 equipped LPs. Everything was too expensive until I found Rondo Music. It's a sweet guitar for $200. I check the b-stock list every day. I think I have Rondo GAS!

What's the verdict on the 100 buck strats, are they as good the ones squire makes (which wasn't that impressive)?

there's this black one with a "Flame Maple Top at an Unbelievable Price !"
    http://www.rondomusic.net/wf130tbk.html

and a red one, which is "Perfect for many musical styles including rock, jazz, blues and Christian"

To bad it's not also perfect for Jewish rock, then I could play LAMB covers.
Joel Chernoff's the band leader. They have some really great tunes, think early 70's rock with different chord progressions and harmonic minor melodies.

I have not seen it, but I was told by some pretty well known guys - that a recent Vintage Guitar mag article gave the $99 strats a thumbs up.

I would guess that all of the reviews can't be wrong.

I want one of the teles.......eventually.
