Never heard of him, and the only hit you get Googling his name is the very Craigslist ad mentioned.
When you google MY name, you get a hundred or so references, and I'm nobody....
Google "John English" and "Fender" and you get over 10,000 hits....

That IMHO, is a pretty durn ugly guitar, though. Having a big "R-O-C-K"on it doesn't help things.

Yeah... it's got a strong "Warmoth Showcase" vibe.
I'd play it...I think it would be a little better with a pickguard, nickel hardware and knob change though. The body/finish is cool!

Anyway, yup this seller has been challenged on the local Craigslist. Surprisingly (??) those challenges were probably flagged (by the seller?).
