Tried it again against a white EJ
The 56 seems to have a U neck and i am not too fond of the treble pup as i play heavier rock
The EJ treble pup sounds better. but I am still intrigued by the 56 as the finish is superb as well as the feel

Well done, you got one of Fender's finest. An almost perfect case study of 'GAS'. Three or four days is about my limit as well.
