No prob. Got your email and just now responded. Thanks for your understanding.

As you see I also had to edit your signature line because it contains a business link in violation of our rules.

Looks great. I love the way you didn't overdo the relicing on the body.

I love the anodized gold pickguards. I put one on my two-tone 57RI (not reliced).

That looks damn good too. That seems like it could pass for an original to me, very well done!

Thanks. I agree they both look stunning and scary original! I hope to be building a lot more soon and have a '64 style fiesta red strat with tortiose shell gaurd and a '62 blonde green gaurd on the way!

    Re: Fake aged guitars...

I just love relics! I love bright shiny new condition guitars as well.I think a relic looks groovy up on stage especially-moreso than a brand new one. More "mojo" i guess.I dont think anyone started out with a vlauable mint condition Fender Strat and reliced it. That would be wrong I think. These are some gorgeous relics displayed on this thread and I would love to have one.
Ive got that slighlty reliced Jimmy Vaughan( someone here on TFF did a great job on relicing the poly finish, which is kind of tough to do).
I will say that one thing I cant stand is some of the beaters that are described as "relics" on ebay for the purpose of trying to make a sale. A beat up and ugly guitar with missing pieces and chopped off body parts is NOT a relic!
