    Hardtail Strat Discontinued??

    Has the American Hardtail Strat been discontinued? Noticeably absent from the Fender site and MF model inventory seems to be dwindling...

    I saw one of these used the other day and I was tempted to pick it up. $800 for a 3-tone burst and it looked to be in mint condition. I didn't play it for fear of not being able to leave without it. If they are indeed being discontinued I may be going back.
