You posted this thread in the Strat section. That's called specificity where I'm from. Around 100+ other posts seemed to agree. ;-)Originally Posted by NTBluesGuitar

In case you missed it. Here's a bigger pic:
It is an early '64, (feb neck date) olympic white, spaghetti logo, clay dot, black bottom p/u's, L series serial #. I have owned it for about 15 years. It sounds and plays like no other I have ever come accross. I used to play it out regularly, now I just take it out on special occasions. I'm pretty sure it will always be my #1.
This is/was my number one for many years :

My #1 is the 1955 Strat (the one on the left):
My #1 is a Les Paul Classic, but I love my Strats too...
#1a is the black Strat. She's my best playing Strat.
#1b is the burnt sienna Strat. She's my best looking Strat.
My #1 go to Strat. But I also go to a Tele and a LP and an SG depending on my mood. This Strat is my favorite out of 4 Strats. It is a MIJ 62RI w/ CS Hot 50s installed.
(no Hello Kitty remarks, please ;) ) This one kicks some major ass.

Yep-ahhh, here's 'Wayne', my #1, sorry for the blurry picture:
It's a Squier, made in Japan circa 1991-1993. Inherited from a drummer I used to play with, the rhythm guitar player disassembled it, 'lost' the middle pickup, and couldn't figure out how to put it back together. Thus, it was dropped off at my house, and it's been with me ever since. The middle knob controls tone for both pickups, the bottom knob controls the effect of a treble bypass capacitor I soldered onto the volume control. It needs a refret, llike, BAD, but I love the sound, so I've learned to deal.
I love Blondes, Redheads, and Brunettes.

Nice stable, gadzooka. What kind of LP is that? That is exactly the one (one of the ones) I want, black with the wood on the sides...
Hey thanks, boobtube... After a lot of trial and error, I have settled on my electric keepers. Considering how much I play (not much) I don't really need anything else. These all have their own satisfying vibe.
The LP is a stock 2004 '57 Reissue from a limited run ordered for Dave's Guitars in WI. I picked it up on ebay a year ago. Great guitar, not much heavier than the Strat.
PS - I just checked out Wayne. Looks like your buddy knocked one of his teeth out. :o)
