this is my perfect duo. slap a ts9 between and all is good
'76 Tele -> homemade clean boost -> homemade 5e3 (with 6L6s at the moment) for blues and a little jazz. It's all I use anymore.
AM Tele - std pickups - rosewood neck delta tone - barber direct drive - Fender Vibro King
Nocaster through my Vicky Deluxe or Tweed Pro.
52RI through a Fender Hot Rod Delux with an OCD pedal.
Awesome sound.
Knowledge pursues me, but I am swifter....
Baja tele through a Marshall 18 watt with just a clean boost pedal in between for leads.
Victoria Deluxe w/Jensen Alnico 5 speaker.
Dr. Z Maz Jr.
It's not very boutique or anything, but my DRRI is phenomenal with my tele.
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".

Holy crap Mr.Z...what a great looking rig. I can SEE the tone from here!
52 RI thru a RC Booster into a Handwired 2061X Marshall and matching cabs. Friggin Awesome tone!
OK, since about every other possible amp has been mentioned...., how about a Deluxe RI ABYed with a Marshall bluesbreaker combo, add your favorite Tele and krank it up.
'91 Tele Plus with a Marshall JCM 900 Dual reverb. Every sound from clean to metal.

Hi All
My 2005 American Telecaster through my 1970 American Ampeg VT22
Nothing better IMHO
I play my old Strat and new Tele through my original 65 Twin and my reissue one via a Boss GT-8 for stereo.
Steve
Howdy,
For clean: Red knob "The Twin". Nasty: '68 Vibro Champ.
Eggman
62 R Thinskin Tele Through a Blockhead jtm-45 clone.
This obviously is not my at home practice setup, The lease just expired at our rented jamspace.

I play my '52 almost exclusively through a 1959 Bassman. A match made in heaven. Rink
69 Thinline into My Allen 5E3.. Tonal Bliss!
I tried out a Nashville Tele thru a Bassman Reissue at GC last week... great Fender sounds IMO.

Gatton Tele into Fuchs modded '59 Bassman Reissue.
What's the old gibson doing in this pic? Rink
I play mine through a Victoria Regal and it sounds fantastic. Really anything sounds fantastic through that amp but I think single coils and P-90's really shine.
Here it is with another guitar, I don't have any picks of the amp by itself.

Norm, do I know you from Hollywood back in "the day"? You almost had it, 55, 59 and 52. Amps all '59. A little more here

And a U47 to catch them with!
(ok... I just went to that other thread and saw that's your myspace name and all. Much more than just your avatar)

Wilko, I usually prefer the U67, my go-to tube mic for electric guitars. Third from left.

Very nice collection there.
I was in the studio most of Saturday staring at a U87 (what I could see of it through the pop filter)
American tele plugged into a stock Deluxe Reverb and pushed at about 4 volume on the vibrato input 1. Neck pickup for blues leads with maybe a big muff and/or TS9 and Dyna Comp pedals for the crunch to the wicked. Reverb < 2 at all times.
62 Reissue through Dr. Z Maz 18
Alright, a couple of years late, but I'm loving the Dr. Z Rx Jr. with my CIJ 52 RI. Of course anything you plug into this amp is awesome. I've never had an amp sound so full. Great low end, but bit of a scoop in the mids and great chime. Yum.

Sure would like to try one into a TrainWreck someday.

hello all from the "new guy" (or a new guy I should say) - play a MIJ Telecaster through a Vox AD30vt set mostly to the Twin Reverb or AC30 setting - had a Hot Rod Deville but sold it - too much amp to just play at home.
Very simple: MIA tele into TRRI.
I play my American Series Telecaster through a Dr. Z MAZ 18 NR head & Lopoline 1x12 cabinet loaded with a Celestion Vintage 30 speaker.
I can has tone?
