    Fender 1977 Mustang

    Hope everyone is well - I just picked up a 1977 Mustang (short scale) and I wanted the experts to give me the scoop on this guitar. I honestly don't know a lot about the make - I just thought the buy was too good to pass up. Anything Fender is usually quality and the guitar is in very good condition. It is the sunburst style, and has tremendous tone - I wanted to know what the lowdown is on this make - i.e., is it a classic - something to hold onto? Or is it just an average bass? Thanks for all the input.
