online/ebay store does parts ?

reliablefender is this seller. they have a big inventory of nothing but parts. they recently parted out a certain "like new" signature strat that i would love to own. i can see a reason for parting out regular "standard" parts, but breaking up and selling parts from a signature seems weird to me. here the signature parts are mostly std except for the neck i believe. for example, i doubt if you have a signature strat and you need a new vol knob that you will wait for that "signature knob" to appear when a std part does the job and is the same part anyway!

I saw them sell the bridge off of an Eric Johnson Strat for well over $100!

I would think that the money's in a guitar like a Hwy1 where they just say the parts came off of a made in USA guitar, not which model.
