It's the death knoll, so one must insist, even at the risk of being labelled "Perfectionist-Band-Bitch".

Oh Annie - I just love it when you talk dirty....:drl

A diferent tactic might be for everyone else in the band to go way out of tune and make him look really bad. A couple tunes like that and maybe he'd get the message...

Edited for proper emphasis, recalling too many Steve Miller performances.

Steve Stills tunes between every song, after he changes guitars three times. Sandy Bull would retune every instrument between every song.

Out of tune is out of tune. Listen to the Byrds at the Monterey Pop Festival. One could tell their level of stoned by their sound, not just by their "banter" nor their chops.

Yes, but people are willing to wait while the stars tune up...though they SHOULD have guitar techs to do that.

During a set, the last thing I want to be thinking about is tuning up. Especially since if you aren't playing a rockin' tune, the girls are leaving the dance floor in droves!

Also, just to make sure everyone knows I'm not doing that thing with the chicks and making OSA tune my guitar...often I'm working with Mikey on the PA setup and don't have time to do all 3 of my guitars.

    It's true!
    Really, it is......

In fact, Crossfyre is really good at getting load-in, set-up, tear-down, load-out, get paid, have one for the road. It's down to a freakin' science!

Well, just stop on over and pick em up!
BTW, that's the logo for the next batch of shirts. I order those when the ones I have now are gone.
Half of the first order is gone and all the "Bulldozer" Cds are gone.

Way back when I was young (a long time ago... The summer Elvis died) I got my first real guitar. A "steel string" acoustic guitar (it was an "Aspen" japanese plywood topped 'D-18') SHortly after my birthday when I got my guitar, I had to go to Luisiana for the summer and coiuldn't take my new guitar. I went for about a month without it. Seemed like forever... specially since I had to kill most of that time on a farm in the BFE section of cajun country.
