Whaddya'll think about this for $150.00?

So, I found this online today locally for $150.00. Seller says it's MIJ, but he also says he thought it was only 5 years old or so. Was Squier still making stuff in Japan in 2000? The logo looks like an older Squier logo.

Seller also says that the replacement pickups (some sort of lipsticks) were in it when he bought it, but he also has the originals.

I don't need another bass, but you know how it is...





Potentially MIJ Squier Jazz for $150.00. Opinions?

$100 including shipping would be a fair deal for a new bass player to learn on should be fine.

The guy is local, so I'd just pick it up. I thought that it being MIJ (according to the seller) would be a little better than the current Squiers made in China or Indonesia. But if they were selling for $179.00 new...then yeah, $150.00 is too much.
