    Tuner Recommendation?

I have a Boss TU-2 tuner that works fine, but I'm looking for something that works well, that doesn't need to be jacked in.

What are your recommendations, and why?

Something with long battery life would be nice, that would work for electric and acoustic guitars.

In fact, I may sell my TU-2 and just go with something more portable, as long as it is accurate and reliable.

I've never used it before but I've heard a lot of great things about the Peterson StroboStomp

I know that Peterson's are really high quality tuners and the stompbox version is held in pretty high regard. From what I've heard it's a bit pricey but worth it.

My TU-2 is a stomp box. I want something hand held, that I can carry in my pocket.

The current crop of Korg tuners are great bang for the buck, small and lock in pretty well. You won't want to set intonation by them, and they're not backlit, but I always carry one as a backup.
    Several guitars in different colors
    Things to make them fuzzy
    Things to make them louder
    orange picks

    Re: Tuner Recommendation?

I have an Intellisense tuner that clips on the headstock and tunes by vibrations. It's a little finicky, and actually, I'm looking to replace it with a TU-2 but it works well when I don't want to have to mess with plugging in. It also works on my acoustic guitar and banjo.

I don't think it's accurate enough to set intonation by, though.
