There is a VAST difference between the Affinity series and the Standard series.... It’s definitely worth the extra few bucks to go Standard as to Affinity....
I did not know this... I just assumed it was the same guitar with a thinner body....

Well, let's have it.
What are the differences? As long as you're at it, why not include the Bullet in there too?

I went to GC last night with my kid and we checked out basses, and my brown hair daughter, you would swear was a blond with her hair dyed brown could even tell the difference between the Affinity and the Standard.
Better all around constructions, attention to detail and they put Alnico pickups in them as opposed to ceramic. It just a "real Fender feel" to it. I'm not sure of everything, but I can tell right off that some of the upgrades I always do to an Affinity are already done on the Standards.
I ordered one from MF because I have no cash... so I'll be able to tell more when it gets here and I dissect ... er... set it up....

Some of them are quite nice. I have a set of P90s I though about putting in the P90 Tele ..........they make some nice ones. Its better if you can pick and choose, but the luck of the draw is usually with good folks like you PWA........
