    >>> Many of my other favorites have already been mentioned, but I should add Peter Buck too.

He's famous for playing Rickenbackers, and he plays a Les Paul too, but when did he ever play a tele?

I love all the Tele picks, but also some up and coming telephiles. Check out a young fellow named Jason Jordan(www.jasonjordan.net) Uses a 67' Tele and Super reverb amp. ...

I've heard Jason before. He's got some nice stuff. I like his vibe. It's really nice to that Nashville is growing as far as Tele players go...

Sorry, 1st time poster here, but lots of great choices listed here. I'd agree on most, and I've added a couple of people to my list of players to check out.

Whomever said D Boon and Chrissie Hynde--cool--two of my favourites.

    I might add:

    Roky Erikson

    Tom Herman

    Daniel Ash

For me, Gatton's the king and the argument's over who comes after the great DG - what a player.

Also: Roy Buchanan, Jessie Edwin Davis, Tom Principato, Jimmy Bryant, James Burton, Don Rich, Amos Garrett, Albert Lee, Roy Nichols, Big Al Anderson, Brent Mason, Nokie Edwards, Will Ray, John Jorgenson, Jerry Donahue, Mike Bloomfield (all the pictures show him with the LP burst but his best stuff's on a Tele), and Pete Anderson.

One name y'all might not know but if you've listened to Lee Roy Parnell, you've heard him:

James Pennebaker. Just a monster and he also plays fiddle, mandolin, pedal steel, lap steel, dobro, the list goes on and on. A monster.

I'm glad someone mentioned Bill Hullett because he's a master.

Lee Roy Parnell mostly used a Tele on his first album so I'll throw him in.

Reggie Young. "Drift Away." Need I say more? Also many years with Waylon.

Popa Chubby uses a Tele at times. Great NYC blues player.

    Todd Sharp.

And of course, me. See the avatar? :nelson
