    First time poster here.

The only one I'd add would be Frank Black (Black Francis). Every time I've seen him play his solo work or with the reunited Pixies, he's always playing a blond Tele. Very slick.

    Marc Ribot

Caught him on "Sessions at West 54th" that used to air on Trio. If I wasn't sitting down already I would have fallen down.

    Marty Stuart and Kenny Vaughn.

I just picked up Marty & the Fabulous Superlatives' "Soul's Chapel" yesterday.

    Holy moley!!!!! :

    Good, good stuff.
They're channeling Pops Staples at times.
And Marty's using Pops' old rosewood Tele on a couple tracks.
    Great playing, singing and recording.

My favorite guitar disc since Jim Campilongo's American Hips.

Definitely Cropper. He's the king...or was. Is he dead? Page ruled on the Tele. Didn't he record all of the first 2 albums with the Tele and Supro rig?

And a couple of more recent blues greats - Johnny Lang and Susan Tedeschi (who happens to be married to Derek Trucks).

Lang partiularly gets a unique tone on his tele if you see him live......
