    For anyone interested...Some Squier 51 mods

    Here are my latest 51 mods. The neck is a mim 60's reissue neck with vintage style kluson tuners. The pickguard is from pickguardian. The bridge pickup is a GFS Liverpool Retrotron. The neck pickup is a GFS Alnico Fatboy I37. It now has a 3-way switch (gibson type) and a dual concentric pot for volume and tone. The guitar sounds great and I think the tone pot makes a big difference (It definately did with the original pickups.

    Schweeet. I'd been gassing after trying one out a while back, and thought I'd gotten over it, but that layout is making me think again.
