well then you ARE a lucky man getting that amp, huh?
what r u getting?
Imanidiot.
This is not mine, it belongs to a buy on HCF. It really gets me GASsing for a '51.
They are £129 in my local store. So cheap, yet so expensive to a student! I'd really like one as a cool gigging guitar, and a nice base for any mods I fancy trying out. Even in stock form, they are pretty sweet though.
sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet:yay

That IS Nice!

Sooo...has anyone broken out the old Kiwi brown shoe polish on their '51? ;)
Man...that looks great. I wonder how much more all those mods (refin, pickups, pickguard, etc.) cost. I wish they would have had that color available, though.Originally Posted by bcjames
I almost picked up another '51 last week (that'd make 3 for me) because GC had 'em for $100.00, but they were all black. Even though that'd give me a complete collection of all 3 colors, I dunno...I just didn't pull the trigger.

I bet, if you can paint yourself, you could run those mods for around $100. Im not American, but a GFS pickup, custom pg, and paint from an auto store would probably run around £90-£100, but then with guitars £100 here normally equals $100 stateside
Id love a black '51, but if I get one, I might have to get a second to get either a surf green or shell pink or something.
Raising a thread from the dead, but I recently put together a band with co-workers for a company function and played my Squier '51 live for the first time. Everyone dug my little $150.00 guitar.
