Why stratocaster?

To me, the Strat is just part of the collection...
I have a Strat, Tele, Les Paul, SG, Rickenbacker, etc.
every one does something the others don't. I can't get the Rick Jangle out of a Strat, the LP doesn't do the Strat Cluck...the Rick won;t roar like a Paul...
you get the idea. I pick up a guitar depending on what mood I'm in, or what I want to play...the Strat gets bluesy licks out of me, but for rockin' out, the Gibsons work better...
None are better or worse than the others, but wouldn't life be boring if there was only 1 kind of guitar out there?

My Gibson LP Jr used to be my main axe
No more since I got this MIJ 96 62RI, updated the pups.
Man It's now my no one player exept for the real growly stuff ,nobody does it better than the LP Jr!
