If the Strat is Japanese or Korean made, then probably 84-87.
Not sure about the mustang tho.
Yeah the strat is somewhere between 84 and 87. Fender had a lot of E4..... serial numbers at that time and used them for several years.
The Mustang serial number is in the 1966-67 range.
