I have a Cap't Cocunut 2 that has a Provibe on it. Straight Hendrix/Gilmour tones.

    BUY IT!!

Bob Sweet is one of the coolest guys out there that's building pedals. The tone of the Ultra-Vibe is killer. IMHO you won't find another pedal built as well, or that sounds as good for a uni-vibe clone.

i love mine. a/b'ed it with a real Univibe at Rudy's music, and it was the coolest, and closest sounding of a Fulltone Dejavibe, and even PE Vibe Unit.

the Sweet Sound one had that dry tougher sounding vibe tone, like Hendrix at Woodstock. but i did also dig the PE one. wetter and more chorusy sounding, it was more of a Jimi & Band o' Gypsies at the Fillmore East sound. i actually bought both that day.

Don't forget to try it in different orders of the pedal chain. Some prefer it last and some prefer it first.

    I know what you mean

THE UV is exactly as you described.

One of the things that I do with mine is set it on vibe instead of chorus to a semi fast setting and then blend the intensity in just enough to fatten up the tone. It sounds like early Bad Company.
    GREAT PEDAL!!!
