If I may offer some very good advice. Educate yourself on fret dimensions and whatnot - for instance- taller frets do not require more precision to play than a short fret. It's an interesting subject - and one that's both subjective and objective, and you should have an idea of what you like and for what reasons - that will allow you to understand what other players want to feel in their own frets - That helps me- because I'm a maker and restorer - and it's important to understand completely where your customer is coming from. That's not my advice - here comes the advice: rely on your luthier. You have one of the best luthiers in the country working on your guitar. I've been making since '88 and I'm quite good at what I do, but if I had 5 minutes in a coffee shop with Holst, I would ask him what kind of frets he likes for me- and I would listen very closely. Congrats on your Holst- it'll be awesome - he makes great stuff.
