Nice looking guitar!
That is beautiful! I don't have a Gibson with flame right now. I have a Carvin with a heck of a quilted top, though!
I don't have a gibson with flames at the moment either. Would a run down memory lane be ok?
I have a bit of flame on my 2012 Trad.

If I recall correctly - Gibson Junkie has a Gary Moore LP that I haven't seen pic of in a long while.
I got to put some fingerprints on it a few years ago - and really liked it!
My Gary Moore sig Les Paul had some flame!

Brazilian 2003 R8, I thought I'd never sell this guitar but my dad was going through chemo and I needed money to live on while I took care of him. The inside of the back plate has an autograph of Les Paul when I saw him at the Iridium Jazz Club.

annnnd finally, we come to the last of the flamed gibsons I've had. Some I miss more than others but I feel very fortunate to have been in their presence for however long I was around.
Brazilian 2003 R9, this was hands down both the most beautiful and best sounding of all my 2003 Brazilian Historic Custom Shop reissues. The day I put it up for sale it was bought by a Japanese collector and as far as I know it resides still in the Land of The Rising Sun. I want this one back.

I love flamed maple. Not a Les Paul, but flamey all the same. My CS-336:

Lotsa killer LPs in this thread!
renderit, it should be illegal to own that much flamed beauty.
All nice guitars I'm sure, but the color on that first Les Paul (an R0?) is just DEEP. I think CDaughtry's Faye is the most beautiful Les Paul ever. That one reminds me of it.
Thank you for the positives. Actually I like that one (the top one) the least. It is an R0 and I can't get into the neck at all. The sound is dead on, I love it but I just have gotten away from skinny necks. I am not nuts about dark bursts either, but at least it shows very red around the edges with enough light. Big Al loves it as well. The only reason I don't get rid of it is I have the set. 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61 so it's kinda holding up that end of the bidness.
OMG I might have just made a little tinkle in my jockey shorts. :D
I played one of these - in a deep, sparkle blue - at a local store recently...it was used at $1999 and I wish I had the $$. What an amazing instrument with a great palette of tones on tap and the easiest playing neck around.
Every time I see that I want it. I can't do 3 pickups though. Other than that I must have an acid green monster like that.
