Sunday mawning and flip flops

It's Sunday and I'm having a big mug of coffee with a lot of sugar and eating some parmesan cheese. I like the combination.
I've been working like a horse and driving every week to rehearse and play with the band. My soloing is really getting better (I'm doing it live all the time, that helps). We had a gig scheduled for last night but had to cancel due to our singer's sore throat.
I'm home, it's warm and cozy down here and I will probably spend the day in shorts and Rainbows, reading, drinking coffee and maybe see the GF in the evening.
Good Sunday everyone!

mmm, giant picture of coffee.
rainy day here. woke up to 73 degrees (21.7 C) in the second week of October. That's more like 2nd week of August temp. Saw a big blob of green on the radar so I did something I haven't done in years and years. Went for a morning walk before I even had a cup of coffee. The police officer was kind enough to let me go home and put on the pants I forgot without arresting me. :biglaugh:
Oh, I, ah, kind of fell victim to some spontaneous GAS. Bought a jam pedal that supposedly gives you the experience of making a backing track of a trio with drums and bass. More on that when I get it.
Got a busy first half of the week coming up, probably won't get to the garage project until after Wednesday. Also now having more signal issues with my recording rig. I was trying to dub to a cassette tape from my DAW and wasn't getting the left channel to work. Weird stuff happened when I moved the patch cables around but it started to work and then the signal cut out again. So now it looks like i have to DeOxit the jacks in the patch bay as well. I had cleaned the plugs on the cables earlier this week to great effect.

Beautiful day here in Cape Breton. It's cloudy but dry. About 70f. We just came back from a hike and will be celebrating thanksgiving with family later this afternoon.
Been talking to someone at CME about a floor model ES-335. Might make a move.

Re: Sunday mawning and flip flops
Holiday long weekend up here (Canadian Thamksgiving). Rained all day yesterday but really nice today. Spent the morning building the foundation for a garbage shed in my back yard. About to tuck into some turkey and all the fixings. Finish the shed job tomorrow and the round 2 of turkey!
Been watching a ton of Metallica on YouTube lately and it's starting to impact my songwriting. Might take this stuff into the studio with my hard rock project in the next month or two....
Re: Sunday mawning and flip flops
Sunday here started off with our group of friends getting together for bloody Marys and breakfast and that always makes our Sunday mornings a very special time. In the afternoon we took the Harley for a ride north to visit family for a good old Belgian Kermis and managed to do a 150 mile run in a beautiful, cloudless, 70 degree Wisconsin day. Life is great here behind the cheddar curtain.
