Wiring standard Stratocaster
I have wired Strats before with minimal problem. Current grounding problem - when switching the 5 way switch, a get a hum on the individual settings (neck, middle, & bridge) - but no hum on 2 (neck - middle) and 4 (middle - bridge) settings ? Do I redo all the grounding spots?

Yes....and look closely for one tiny piece of wire touching someplace it's not supposed to.
Re: Wiring standard Stratocaster
Depending on the amount of hum and whether or not the middle p/u is rw/rp compared to the other two, this might be normal.

My thoughts exactly.
Does it go away when you touch the strings, or does it change in any way as you rotate the guitar around any axis?
