Forget the face plate. It's actually a prototype and not a Chihuahua. The face plate was lifted from a Chihuahua because it was the right size. It's basically a 3 watt amp w/8" Jensen and a master volume control. The 'verb knob isn't reverb it's the master. The inputs are Hi and Lo gain.
Sort of like a baby Marshall on the Hi gain input and a (quieter) Champ on the Lo gain side.
It gets pretty chunky at low volumes. Been my go to home amp, at least whenever the better half is about, since it's arrival over a year ago. :yah:

G&L Leagacy Tribute HB and Washburn HB-35s through Vox Valvetronix AD50VT.

Re: The What Amp did you play through today Thread
Hey Concert410!
How do you like your Washburn? I'm window shopping for a humbucker guit. The model you have is a nice looking guitar. Did you compare it to other semi-hollows when you bought it? Curious about it.
Good as always to see you on the forum.

Re: The What Amp did you play through today Thread
I love my Washburn HB-35S. Put together well and very comfortable. The original pickups were microphonic so now it is loaded with GFS replacements.
Back to the thread....
G&L Leagacy HB through a Marchall DSL15 head. As long as the gain on the lead channel is at 9:00 or below, it sounds fantastic.

If I remember correctly, it was your 6G3 clips that pushed me to build my clone.
I spent an hour or so with it tonight and it never fails to impress.
Dirty or clean, it is so right all the time.

Yes indeed. I was with someone for 24 years who never got the music that much. It's nice to have someone who actually begs me to sing and play.

Re: The What Amp did you play through today Thread
You have a woman who begs? Does she have a sister....or even a Mom???

Re: The What Amp did you play through today Thread
Yesterday, along with my own amps, a super clean '64 Ampeg Rocket (to compare to my '63 Jet), a Mojotone 6G3 clone and a purple Weber 5F2-A clone with a 10A125 speaker and 15 watt SE output transformer. That thing rocked!!!:yah:

We're going to need pictures.

There are photos of the Fender Dual Pro on the Les Paul Forum in the amps section. I also have photos of a 1950 Fender Super and a 1954 Fender Twin. I hope that some of you who are here are also members there.
Regarding the 2002 join date, I joined a number of the forums back then but I don't post too often. Coyotesgator I enjoy your posts. You can PM me if you have any other Q's.

My American Strat into a Wampler Dual Fusion, Wampler Faux Tape Delay and into my Marshall DSL-15 and my new '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb. Got a very rock-oriented gig Thursday evening and I want to do something with two amps, so I'm trying this pairing up in my studio.
Likey. :headbange

When they're Women For Oreos? What the hell do you think I'm running here? A snack shop? This ain't that kinda place dude! Oh sure, you bait 'em in with Oreos then make a comment about their teeth and you have your opening line! Like we haven't all used THAT old one before! Sheesh!
In answer to the amp part, if they are very close together they sound like it. If I separate them say across the room they sound further apart. Dang. You needs to lay offn' the bong a while dude!

I used to have a Blues Cube 30. I bought it used for $69 on closeout at GC years ago. It was a really nice sounding amp!
