Are the pickups on the recent Squier Duo-Sonic wired in series like on the original Duo-Sonics?
ya got me there...
my daughter had a Duo back in the around '90 and it seemed like it was wired in parallel like a Strat
and my '64 Stang isn't wired in series either - just that funky on/off/phase switch for each PU
The MIM Duo-Sonics from the '90s were wired in parallel. I just found out that the new Squiers are as well. I had a '65 Mustang over 20 years ago! Cool guitar! Here's a pic from 1988-
