Barry White´s Vocal Sound in mind for Telli clean sound
Hi folks,
it was just an idea: could I let the Telli sound like a human voice? Kind of warm and smooth (like Barry wWhite)?
So I tried this recording with my Custom Shop 1967 Telecaster, Fender Pro Reverb Amp (Speaker changed to Jenson Alnico) and Keeley Compressor Plus Pedal.
After two minutes I added the BB Overdrive (not a good idea...), just listen to the clean sound! :-)

Rudkowski, that didn't sound at all like Barry White to me! :roflmao
After a few measures, I didn't care, of course. As usual, a very nice, very tasteful four minutes. Do you do your own backing tracks, too?

Great playing. I don't get the Barry White reference either.
And for what it's worth, I submitted a new ice cream flavor idea to Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream in Vermont.
Premium vanilla ice cream with chunks of white chocolate and wild berries. "Berry White." No response! No one makes a great, unusual white/vanilla specialty ice cream, It's all chocolate based. They missed the boat on this one.
And I don't get my free year's supply for creating the flavor. A travesty I tell ya!

Verrrrrry jazzy and just goes to prove that a Tele is an amazingly versatile guitar.
Excellent tone and excellent playing.

+1
But no relationship whatsoever to the dulcet baritone voice of Barry White.

Nobody has ever had a voice as sweet but low as Barry White. I listen to him from time to time. He was a great musician, arranger, and songwriter. He made careers for a number of folks as well.
